articles written for magazines, journals and monthly bulletins. By 1938 volunteers in the cancer control
movement had grown to 150,000. The American Cancer Society today works to
provide grants to cancer researchers while still dispensing information and education

Andre Katz provides financial support to the Ann & Robert H. Lurie
Children’s Hospital of Chicago. A
pediatric specialty facility, the Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital
staffs more than 1200 physicians and 4000 employees. The Hospital is ranked #1
on a regional basis.
